Welsh TB Consultation U-Turn October 23, 2014 12:00 am Following a public consultation (and considerable lobbying) earlier this year, the Welsh Government has scrapped plans to introduce a table based valuation system (as used in England) for TB compensation. Claims will continue to be valued on a case by case basis, however claims for pedigree animals exceeding £3,000 will face more scrutiny. A £15,000 valuation cap has been imposed on pedigree animals.
