Welsh Rural Development Funds July 17, 2015 12:00 am Four new schemes will be launched shortly under the Welsh Rural Development Programme; Rural Community Development Fund – aimed at improving ‘community cohesion’ Sustainable Production Grant – improving resilience of farming Food Business Investment Scheme – focus on the Welsh Food Sector Strategic Initiative Projects – woodlands, food innovation and the red meat sector. At this point little else is know about the schemes. More details will emerge when they are formally announced – probably on the first day of the Royal Welsh Show.
