Welsh RDP Approved April 30, 2015 12:00 am The Welsh Government has received informal approval for its Rural Development Programme. This comes via a ‘letter of comfort’ from the European Commission’s Director-General for Agriculture and Rural Development. The letter confirms that proposed programme will be recommended for formal approval, which is expected in the coming weeks once the Commission’s multi-annual budget has been revised. Planning can now continue on the roll-out of the proposed schemes.
