UK Farm Balance Sheet November 27, 2015 12:00 am The UK farming industry increased its net worth by almost 6% in the 2014 calendar year according to DEFRA statistics. As part of the aggregate accounts for the industry that produce the Total Income from Farming (TIFF) figures, a balance sheet is also drawn up. This shows a big increase in net worth as at December 2014 compared to a year earlier. Not surprisingly, this is a result of rising land values.
