Tractor Weight and Speed Limit Increases October 23, 2014 12:00 am From Spring 2015 farmers will be able to carry more produce with each journey. The maximum tractor and trailer combination weight will increase from 24.39t to 31t, they will also be able to travel at 25mph, 5mph faster than before. Tractors allowed to travel over 25mph will continue to be subject to tighter design requirements and regulation. The changes are expected to deliver £62 million of benefits each year.
