Tesco Launch Future Farmer Foundation November 21, 2013 12:00 am The retailer Tesco has launched its Future Farmer Foundation to support the next generation of British farmers. The Foundation is open to candidates aged between 20 and 35 who live and work in the UK and need support in making their own start in agriculture. The aim is to offer ‘bright, talented, determined young people’ help into getting into agriculture through a tailor made package of mentoring, training in business planning and leadership skills, along with supply chain experience. In the first year a minimum of 15 people will be given the chance to join the Foundation. Applications can be made online at www.TescoFutureFarmerFoundation.com The closing date is 31st December 2013.
