TB Compensation Changes in Wales

The Welsh Government has announced it will be consulting on its bovine TB compensation payments in the New Year.  The consultation will be on the introduction of a table valuation system, based on average market prices for different categories of animal.  Currently compensation is done via on-farm valuation at 100% of market value.  England already uses a table valuation method.
