Syngenta Withdraws Neonicotinoid Request July 4, 2014 12:00 am Syngenta has withdrawn its derogation request for the use of the neonicotinoid seed treatment, Cruiser, on oilseed rape after failing to get Government approval in time. The Advisory Committee on Pesticides has indicated that the conditions for approval had been met back in May but without a final decision made before the end of June Syngenta states that it does not have time to supply the seed treatment this autumn. The company will look to revive the request for autumn 2015.
