Singapore Beef Deal

Singapore has recently lifted its ban on UK beef.  The ban, which has been in place since March 1996, was introduced following the BSE crisis.  Singapore’s Agri-food Veterinary Authority has inspected three beef plants which are now able to export meat to the country.  This trade agreement could be worth around £10 million to the UK economy.
