Scottish Pig Processing Investment

A P Jess, a pork processing plant in Brechin, has been awarded a £2.7 million investment by the Scottish Government.  The project aims to almost double the plant’s capacity and create an additional 20 jobs.  The announcement comes just over a year after the closure of the Halls of Broxton where most Scottish pork was processed.
