Scottish BPS Hardship Scheme

February 2, 2016 12:00 am

Given its dismal performance in issuing BPS payments (see previous articles), the Scottish Government has announced details of a Hardship Fund for those that are experiencing cashflow problems as a result.  This will be worth up to £20m.  Farmers and crofters who are unable to get additional finance from their banks can apply to the SG for a fast-tracked interest-free cash advance worth 60% of their CAP claim, up to a maximum of £20,000.  More details and the application form can be found at – https://www.ruralpayments.org/publicsite/futures/topics/all-schemes/cash-flow-loan-scheme/
