Scottish Beef Payments

Around 7,600 Scottish farmers have received their share of the £20.9 million pot available under the Scottish Beef Scheme.  This is the final payment in the Scheme. Future support will be available through the Scottish Suckler Beef Support Scheme under the BPS.  Due to a change in the budget, a less favourable exchange rate and more calves being claimed, rates per head are lower than last year.
