The Scottish Government has recently published the Economic Report on Scottish Agriculture 2014.  The report, compiled by the Rural and Environmental Science and Analytical Service (RESAS) division in the Scottish Government, contains an overview of Scottish agriculture using data from the 2013 June and December Census, the Farm Accounts Survey 2012-2013 and Total Income From Farming 2012 & 2013.  This year the report also contains some material on CAP reform and the growth in tractors in the 1950s.  The full report can be found at  http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2014/06/3709. Also published by the Scottish Government is the Agricultural Facts and Figures Pocketbook which contains key Scottish agricultural statistics along with UK and EU comparisons.  More information can be found at http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2014/06/8138
