Scotland’s Agricultural Holdings Review November 11, 2013 12:00 am A group of six experts have been appointed to advise the Scottish Government’s Review of Agricultural Holdings Legislation. The review aims to identify any changes needed to deliver a strong tenant farming sector in Scotland. An interim report is expected in June 2014, with recommendations and proposed legislative amendments in the final report, in December 2014. The interim report is expected to refer to the, always contentious, Absolute Right to Buy. The six expert members are: Sir Crispin Agnew, rural property law specialist Professor Jeff Maxwell, Land Reform Review Group advisor Barbara Brown, Principal Clerk of the Scottish Land Court Iain Mackay, Chairman of NFUS New Generation Group Hamish Lean, agricultural law specialist Andrew Thin, Scottish Natural Heritage chairman
