Renewable Heat Incentive May 1, 2013 12:00 am The domestic element of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme has been delayed again until spring 2014. Originally due to commence in October 2012, it had already been delayed until summer 2013 and now DECC has announced a further delay until next year. However, the tariff levels are set to be published this summer. The Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP) will continue it its absence. Meanwhile DECC has announced it will shortly be opening a consultation on its Spring Tariff Review of the non-domestic element of the RHI which commenced in autumn 2011. Earlier indications have suggested the tariffs for ground source heat pumps and large biomass plants may see an increase.
