RDP Approval Commences December 17, 2014 12:00 am The European Commission has approved the first three Rural Development Programmes which will operate over the next seven years. The RDPs for Denmark, Poland and Austria are the first to be adopted. Readers will recall each of the devolved regions of the UK sent in their programmes for approval back in the summer. However, it may be summer 2015 before these are given the green light. In total there are 118 programmes to be approved at either national or regional level. A further six (Finland, 1 from Portugal and 4 from Germany) are due to be adopted by the end of 2014.
