Public Opinion of Farmers Improves

For the forth year running the public’s opinion of farmers has improved.  According to the OnePoll survey, 68% of people in England and Wales have a favourable or very favourable opinion of UK farmers (up from 60% in 2012).  90% thought agriculture was important to the UK economy whilst 75% believed farmers has a beneficial effect on looking after the countryside.
