Potato Production November 27, 2013 12:00 am The AHDB (Potato Council) has published its provisional estimate of total GB potato production for 2013. This is put at 5.46 million tonnes; up 21% from 2012 although still lower than any other year since 2007. It states yields are far better than last year at 44.7 tonnes per hectare, accounting for the entire 21% rise in harvested volume.
