Payments Update February 25, 2016 12:00 am The UK paying agencies continue to make 2015 BPS payments, but progress is slow. In England the RPA has now paid 70,880 claimants (or 81.4% of the total). This is up from 68,572 a fortnight earlier, so only a relatively small number extra have moved through the system. The RPA is stated that ‘almost all’ payments will be made by the end of March. In Scotland the situation is worse with only 43% of farmers receiving their part-payments of 80%. The Welsh Government has stated that 86% of businesses had been paid as at the 23rd February.
