New Welsh Wages Order

The Agricultural Wages (Wales) Order 2016 introduces new Agricultural Minimum Wage (AMW) rates for agricultural workers in Wales.  It also defines the terms and conditions of agricultural employment including overtime, night work, holiday and sickness leave. The 2016 order includes different rates for standard and flexible workers and replaces the the 2012 Agricultural Wages Order.  This had been in operation since the English and Welsh Wages Board was disbanded in April 2013.  it has taken some time for the replacement Wales-only body to be set up.  New rates for standard workers are given below;
