New DEFRA Minister

The government reshuffle sees two new faces arrive at DEFRA.  David Heath, Farming Minister, has been replaced by Dan Rogerson, although at the more junior position of Parliamentary Under Secretary.  At the same time, George Eustice will take over Richard Benyon’s role as Secretary of State for Natural Environment, Water and Rural Affairs.  Mr Eustice is the Conservative MP for Cambourne and Redruth in Cornwall. Dan Rogerson is a Liberal Democrat MP, he also comes from Cornwall.  Mr Rogerson joined the Environment, Foodand Rural Affairs (EFRA) committee in 2005.
