More Price Increases

Following last week’s announcements from Muller Wiseman and Sainsbury, five more processors have announced milk price rises:

• First Milk manufacturing and liquid pools will see a 1ppl increase from 1^st November moving standard litre price to 32ppl and 31.85ppl respectively.
• Meadow Foods announced a 1ppl rise from 1^st November to 32.25ppl.
• Milk producers supplying Glanbia Cheese will see a 1ppl increase from 1^st October to 32.6ppl
• Arla producers will see their standard litre price rise to 33.05ppl from 30^th September.
• Dairy Crest farmers on standard liquid and Davidstow contracts will see a further 1ppl increase from 1^st November to 32.5ppl and 33.25ppl respectively.
