Milk Prices November 19, 2013 12:00 am Whilst there has once again been a number of price increases notified (see below), Dairy Crest has announced its formula based contract price is being cut once more. As from 1st December the standard litre price will reduce by 0.254p per litre to 31.684p. This takes it to 0.7p per litre less than its standard liquid milk contract price. The cut is mainly due to a fall in cream prices (-2.2%), fertiliser (-8.3%) and fuel costs (-3.7%). Other price increases to note are: Back dated to October 28th, Arla Foods Amba have increased the price it pays to the 1,600 Arla Amba members by 0.78ppl to take the standard litre price to 33.83ppl From 1st December Crediton Dairy Suppliers have announced a 1ppl increase taking its standard litre price to 34.36ppl From 1st December First Milk has announced it will be increasing both its liquid (by 0.65ppl) and manufacturing (by 0.5ppl) prices so that the standard litre for both is 32.5ppl
