Livestock Movement Rules August 25, 2016 12:00 am DEFRA has made available a form to apply for a Temporary Land Association (TLA) or a Temporary County Parish Holding Number (tCPH). This can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apply-to-register-temporary-use-of-land-to-keep-livestock This new system is part of the changes to simplify the reporting and recording of animal movements, which is being rolled out over the coming year (see our article of 3rd August). Similar changes are also being implemented in Wales. These will be introduced over a two year period from this September. Livestock keepers in Wales will be contacted directly by Rural Payments Wales (RPW) and informed of their options and any actions they need to take. Until contacted producers do not need to do anything differently.
