Livestock Event Changes

July 1, 2016 12:00 am

The Livestock Event on the 6th and 7th July will be the last in the present format.  From 2017 it has been announced that the show will revert back to its previous early-September date.  It will focus simply on dairy, with a new name – ‘The National Dairy Event’.  It will also be a one-day show rather than two, but will continue to be held at the NEC.  The organisers of the show, the RABDF, acknowledge that the new date, 6th September 2017, will be very close to Holstein UK’s Dairy Day held in Telford.  The two organisations are in discussion to hold a joint event in future.
