Lamb Cost of Production Model

Tesco is to trial a cost of production model for lamb.  Data will be collected from 100 producers over a 12 month period.  The retailer invited producers to apply to take part in the trial back in February and a group has now been selected which covers a variety of production systems and regions.  If the trial is successful Tesco will be the first major supermarket to implement such a model.
