HS2: More Details Published May 24, 2013 12:00 am More details of the high speed rail link between London, the Midlands and the North (High-Speed 2) have been published. The draft Environmental Statement for the line between Euston and the West Midlands (Phase One) is now available from the HS2 website at – www.hs2.org.uk/ The statement gives more detail of the precise design of the line and its environmental effects. The proposed measures to mitigate them are also set out. Responses to the consultation have to be submitted by 11th July 2013.
