Greece Takes Over EU Presidency

Greece took over the Presidency of the European Council from Lithuania on 1^st January, meaning it will be in charge when the European Parliament elections take place in May.  Amongst its priorities for the next 6 months are implementing the new CAP, fisheries policy, economic recovery and promotion of agricultural products both internally and externally.
