Glastir Update

.We wrote last month about the launch of the consultation on the proposals for Glastir during the next RDP round.  But land managers are reminded Glastir remains open for applications and Expressions of Interest.  Those with existing woodland or wishing to create new woodland can submit Expressions of Interest (EOI).  EOIs submitted for Glastir Woodland Creation will start being processed by 1^st September 2014.  EOI for Glastir Woodland Management are also being aceepted.  Those received by 31^st July will be eligible for the next round of selections.  EOI forms can be obtained from Rural Payments Wales Customer Contact Centre – Tel: 0300 062 5004.

Applications for Glastir Entry can be submitted at anytime.  Eligible applications received by 30^th September this year will be offered a contract starting on 1^st January 2015.  Applications packs are available from Rural Payments Wales Customer Contact Centre.  Those selected for Glastir Efficiency Grants have until 28^th March 2014 to submit their completed applications.
