GDT Jump November 3, 2016 12:00 am The latest GDT auction on the 1st November saw the index of prices jump by 11.4%. Prices were led by Whole Milk Powder values which climbed by almost 20%. At $3,327 per tonne, the index is now at its highest point since March 2015. The amount of product sold was lower than in previous year – reflecting the reduction in New Zealand output. Concerns about future availability were also thought to be one of the drivers of price increases.
