French to Ban Day Time Spraying

The French Agricultural Minister, Stephane Le Foll, has announced that he will introduce a new rule banning pesticide spraying during the day between March and October.  Although a ban exists on spraying certain insecticides during daylight hours when bees are active the news has not been received well by the industry.  More details on the Minister’s plans are due to be published over the Summer.
