Forestry Statistics 2014 September 25, 2014 12:00 am The Forestry Commission has published their latest set of figures. The report shows that 13,000 Ha of new woodland have been planted in 2013/14. Woodland now covers 13% of UK land, or 3.1 million Ha (10% of England, 18% of Scotland, 15% of Wales, and 8% of Northern Ireland). There was a 7% increase in green roundwood delivered to processors which totaled 11 million tonnes. Imports during 2013 were valued at £6.7billion.
