First Milk Appoint New Chairman

First Milk has appointed Clive Sharpe as its new Chairman.  Sharpe replaces former Environment Secretary Sir Jim Paice, who left in December, and certainly appears to have the commercial experience the beleaguered co-op was looking for.  His CV includes CEO at both Golden Wonder and Homepride Foods and Chairman of Quorn Foods.  He is currently Chairman of Peter’s Food, which he will retain alongside his new post at First Milk which he will take up from 1^st February 2016.
