Investment Appraisals & Finance

Some of the most important decisions in any farm business involve investment. Whether you are looking to purchase land, expand facilities or replace machinery, careful planning is essential. At The Andersons Centre, we help ensure that investment decisions are well matched to the size and nature of your business and contribute to long-term financial resilience.

We support clients in developing investment plans that meet both profitability targets and balance sheet objectives. Our advice helps ensure that capital is used where it can deliver the greatest return.

In many cases, investment will require external finance. This might include:

  • Long-term loans for land or fixed infrastructure
  • Short-term overdraft facilities for working capital in expanding enterprises
  • Hire Purchase or Asset Finance for equipment and machinery

We have strong working relationships with major agricultural lenders and understand how to present funding proposals that meet their requirements. Combined with our business planning expertise, this enables us to support clients in securing appropriate finance with confidence.

Due Diligence and Advisory Support

Our team also provides due diligence support for a range of situations. This may include working on behalf of lenders assessing borrowing proposals or advising clients involved in business acquisitions, restructuring or asset transfers. Our cross-sector knowledge ensures that advice is rooted in commercial reality.

Are you are considering a major investment or finance arrangement?

The Andersons Centre would be delighted to support you. We offer clear, independent guidance to help you evaluate the opportunity and build a sound plan for the future. Contact us for a no obligation initial discussion and explore the best way forward for your farm.
