Facilitation Fund Opens

January 19, 2016 12:00 am

The Countryside Stewardship Scheme Facilitation Fund is open for applications until the 18th March.  This provides funds to bring groups of farmers together under the scheme in order to provide greater environmental benefits.  The second round will follow the same format as last year where the maximum funding is dependent on the number of holdings in the group.  That is, up to £10,000 in costs and £500 per holding. To apply for the fund the group must be at least 2,000 Ha (or smaller if there is an obvious environmental boundary).  All applications will be competitively scored and assessed for value for money.  More information can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/countryside-stewardship-facilitation-funding
