European Election Campaigning Begins

Campaigning has already begun for the European Parliament elections. The first series of farming union meetings will take place over the coming weeks where members can hear the views of those standing for election.  The elections take place on 22^nd May and will determine the UK’s MEPs for the next 5 years.  MEP’s provide a vital link between Europe and UK policy and are play a key role in deciding EU agricultural policy.
