EU Farm Incomes December 21, 2015 12:00 am Farm incomes across the EU-28 fell by 4.3% in 2015 compared to 2014. The estimates from Eurostat of ‘agricultural income per labour unit’ show a massive 37.6% drop in Germany over the 12 months. This was partly caused by the Russian import ban. Other countries such as Poland (a 23.8% drop) were also affected. The UK recorded a 19.3% fall in the measure. This is broadly in line with our estiamtes for TIFF for 2015, showing a 20%+ fall in farming profits compared to 2014.
