Environmental Stewardship Payments

Payments under Environmental Stewardship agreements (ELS, HLS etc.) will be later than usual this year.  This follows the extension of the annual claim deadline by a month and the lengthy process of cross-checking between BPS and agri-environment submissions.  Payments should now begin in October with most paid in November and December.
