England BPS Applications

The RPA has confirmed that from 19th March it will be possible to complete a 2016 BPS claim online.  From this date the second ‘functionality’ will be made available on the Rural Payments service.  This will allow applicants to print off a pre-populated ‘form’ to check and use as a working document if required.  Note, this cannot be sent in as a paper copy though.  

Claimants will also be able to update their landuse including cropping details and EFAs.  In addition they will be able to apply for the Young Farmer Payment, complete the declarations, including Active Farmer, confirm and submit their application.

Applications to the National Reserve are not online this year.  There will be a paper application process.

Detailed guidance on how to complete an online application (and a paper one) will be sent to all claimants by post shortly.
