Race the Sun Challenge – Supporting Action Medical Research

In September, Victoria Scarratt, Helen Wright, Rachel Preston and Sarah Chantrell took on the Race the Sun Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Challenge in aid of Action Medical Research, a charity dedicated to funding vital medical research for babies, children and young people.

The team began at sunrise and, before the sun set, completed a full day of cycling, canoeing, and a climb to the summit of Snowdon and back – a true test of endurance and teamwork.

Their outstanding effort raised just over £6,000 in total for the charity. The Andersons Centre was pleased to support their achievement with a £350 contribution towards their fundraising.
