ESG & Sustainability Reporting Comprehensive and impartial analysis to agribusinesses At The Andersons Centre, we provide comprehensive and impartial analysis to agribusinesses, supply chains, and farms to help them meet evolving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) expectations and sustainability regulations. Our work covers greenhouse gas emissions, wider environmental impacts, and the associated economic risks and opportunities. We take both a whole-farm and enterprise-level approach, giving clients a clear view of current performance and a set of practical, actionable steps to strengthen resilience and sustainability. What We Offer Our service combines surveying and data analysis to deliver a comprehensive picture of sustainability performance. This can include: ESG Reporting: providing clear, evidence-based analysis of environmental, social, and governance performance at the farm, supply chain, or sector level. Our work helps businesses meet reporting requirements, demonstrate progress against sustainability commitments, and present impartial data to stakeholders, investors, and customers. Environmental Risks Analysis: assessing the environmental risks facing farming businesses at both national and regional levels. This service also helps agribusinesses and suppliers to understand the key environmental risks affecting their customer base or supply chain. Carbon Footprint Assessments: once relevant data is collected, we use recognised tools such as Agrecalc or the Farm Carbon Toolkit to assess direct and indirect emissions; where appropriate we include a review of soil carbon sequestration. Environmental Assessments: focus on key areas to provide evidence-based findings, including hedgerow surveys, soil erosion checks, climatic risk mapping, and carbon auditing that leads to practical recommendations. Biodiversity Surveys: cover air, land, and ground flora and fauna and can include bird surveys, habitat surveys, and earthworm counts to provide a well-accounted overview of biodiversity. Natural Capital Evaluations: assessing the quality and health of environmental assets such as soil health, carbon stocks, water resources, and biodiversity. Sustainability Benchmarking: comparing environmental and financial performance across enterprises or regions to identify improvement opportunities. This project was led by the Sustainable Food Trust, The Andersons Centre supported conducting the assessments and providing practical recommendations for farm-level sustainability improvements.3Environmental Risks AnalysisDeveloped a framework to analyse the environmental risks faced by farming businesses at a regional level in the UK. This involved developing 16 metrics to assess physical and transition risks across a range of areas including climate change, air pollution, soil health and the impact of policy change on various farm types. This project was undertaken in collaboration with Agvesto. Need independent ESG insight to demonstrate your sustainability performance?
