BPS Scotland Update July 5, 2016 12:00 am 2015 BPS Payments Scotland has now made full 2015 BPS payments to about 97% of claimants. According to Rural Economy Secretary, Fergus Ewing, significant progress hasbeen made since 23rd June, with £90m worth of final payments made since that date. In total almost £310m has been made to 17,700 claimants. 2016 Entitlement Transfers Scottish claimants who submitted an entitlement transfer application for the 2016 claim year are warned these will not be processed until autumn 2016. Rural Payments and Services Scotland has said it has carried out initial checks on applications, but its focus is on getting the remaining 2015 payments made and processing 2016 SAFs. In the meantime it has asked claimants not to contact the Entitlement Transfer Unit for updates on the progress of transfers. Claimants will be notified when their application has been processed.
