BPS Rush May 8, 2015 12:00 am Latest figures from the UK administrations show that there is a long way to go with BPS applications. With just a few days to go for those in Wales and Northern Ireland and four weeks for those in England and Scotland, the figures clearly show the difficulties faced this year, with England lagging behind. The number of applications made as at 12th May are detailed below; England: 12,500 of an expected 86,000 (15%) Scotland: 5,540 of an expected 21,000 (26%) Wales: 14,360 of an expected 17,000 (85%) Northern Ireland: 16,200 of an expected 30,000 (54%) A number of issues remain, in particular the speed of the Scottish IT system and forms in England still being sent out.
