Beet Talks Continue

There has been no breakthough yet in the 2014 beet price talks between the NFU and British Sugar.  An annoucement was expected at the start of September, but the talks still continue.  It appears that the parties are not so far away that they simply walk away from the discussions.  But neither are they yet close enough to bridge the gap between their positions.
