Arla Invest in Whey September 5, 2014 12:00 am Milk processor, Arla have announced a €38m whey processing facility will be built next to its existing plant in Videbæk, Denmark. The plant, which will be fully operational by 2016, will triple Arla’s capacity to product Hydrolysate which is an important ingredient in babyfood, and products designed for sports and clinical nutrition purposes. Demand is growing strongly in both these market sectors.
