AD Loan Fund Launched

Significant loans will be available to support farm Anaerobic Digestion (AD) projects.  Stage 2 of the On-Farm Anaerobic Digestion Fund, which is being administered by the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) has now been launched.  Stage 1 comprised of a business plan grant (up to £10,000) to investigate the potential of building an AD plant.  Stage 2 offers loans of between £50,000 and £400,000 (and up to 50% of the capital cost) for the construction of AD plants.  The maximum plant size is 250kW and it must be partially fuelled by slurry.  For more information see – http://www.wrap.org.uk/content/farm-ad-fund-loan-0
