Accountable People June 30, 2016 12:00 am It seems the RPA may no longer require all the details of ‘accountable people’ associated with a business. Many will recall the RPA had said it would need the information for the 2016 claim (see February’s article) and would be collecting the information over the summer. Whilst the absence of such information would not stop a claim being submitted and processed, no payment would be made until the necessary information had been provided. Although not 100% confirmed, it looks like this requirement will not now be enforced for the 2016 scheme year. Many may have already collected this information whilst working on clients’ 2016 claims. We will keep readers informed of any further guidance on the subject.
