Cerys is a Farm Business Consultant at The Andersons Centre, with a particular focus within the beef and sheep sector. Her work includes offering financial, strategic and technical consultancy advise, budgeting and business reviews, Welsh farming policy and grant applications.

Cerys comes from an upland sheep farm near Builth Wells, who run a commercial flock of Welsh Mule and Crossbred Ewes, as well as breeding Brecknock Hill Cheviots and her own flock of Registered Pedigree Blue Faced Leicester Sheep. Cerys holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Business Management from the University of South Wales and has 5 years commercial agricultural experience from her time at Wynnstay Group PLC. Cerys remains actively involved in the running of their family sheep farm in Mid Wales.

  • Placement Year Spent at Wynnstay Group PLC (2021)
  • Lantra and Landex Agricultural Learner of the Year and Overall Land based Learner of the Year across Land Based Colleges and Universities in the UK
  • Studied Advanced Extended Technical Diploma in Agriculture at Reaseheath College (2019-2022) – Triple Distinction *
  • Part of the Farming Connect Agri Academy (2020)
  • Heavy involvement on the Family Sheep Farm – Breeding both commercial and breeding sheep, as well as running her own established flock of Blue Faced Leicester Ewes.
